The New Yankee Stadium, Project, Bronx, NY was the new construction of the Yankee Stadium, about 1,300,000 sq ft., opened April 2009. The new stadium was designed by the legendary stadium architectural firm Populous, formally HOK Sport. The tradition and the look of old Yankee Stadium prior to its renovation in the 1970s was incorporated into the new stadium. The new Yankee Stadium seats approximately 51,800 fans. 


As a key member of the design and construction management team that successful built the new Yankee Stadium. The new stadium opened on schedule and in its inaugural season the New York Yankees won their 27th World Series.


Played key management rolls in all of the major design elements of the new Yankee Stadium such as the outfield HD scoreboard and seating bowl ribbon board, Great Hall HD scoreboard & ribbon board, TVs, broadcast, overall signage and graphics, luxury suites and party suites, owner’s suite, conference center, museum, the New York Yankees dugout and clubhouse, as well as all the premium space clubs, restaurants, and retail spaces.


The Stadium Premium Space & Retail Program was developed independently from the base stadium program. The Program was completed on schedule, 12.5% under budget, and with no design and construction deficiencies.


The stand-alone Premium Space & Retail Program represented the bulk of the prime interior space fit out. It totaled 172,000 sq. ft. and was comprised of 75,000 sq. ft. of premium clubs and restaurants in 11 different locations, including the Hard Rock Café and NYY Steak, as well as the 16,000 sq. ft. of retail space. This program also included all of the 271 points of sale and 8,000 pieces of equipment which comprised the 55 concessions, totaling 35,000 sq. ft., and the 18 cooking kitchen spaces, totaling 46,000 sq. ft.
